| Families @ Grace We desire our children to know and to love their Creator, to feel a part of our community, and to grow up with a desire to
transform the world. We believe that the primary responsibility for spiritual nurturing falls with the parents, before any other institution. According to the Bible, we are to teach our children about the Lord and his commandments at all times. (Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:7, & 11:19; Psalm 78:1-8; Ephesians 6:1-4) Our desire is to create an environment where we honor the parents and their teachings about God. Our hope is that families will worship God together. All children over the age of toddler will begin their Sunday mornings in the Sanctuary singing with their parents. After the morning offering, our children’s ministry leaders will walk through the sanctuary to pick up your children and take them to their classrooms. Our children’s ministry serves our children from newborn through grade 6. We use a curriculum that not only teaches our children about God and his love for them, but also about his character and the character of those who serve him. Our curriculum takes children through the basic Bible themes in a way that is interactive, creative, and meaningful. Through singing worshipful songs, Bible study, and arts and crafts, our children learn about God while finding their place in community. We offer the following services for children:Sunday 11:00 A.M.Newborn through 3 year olds: Drop off your child in the nursery. You will be given a pager. Four year olds through 6th grade*: Sign your child in at the desk in the foyer and then have them join you in the sanctuary until after the morning offering. Their leaders will come throught the sanctuary to pick him or her up. Seventh grade and older: Join their parents for the entire worship service. * Parents, if you desire your child to remain with you for the entire service, please do so.
