GraceGroups - Home fellowship Groups @ Grace
scroll down for home group locations

The story we see in the Bible is that God created mankind to be in relationship with him and with each other. But mankind turned away from God, and as a result we struggle in our relationships. In fact, our natural instinct is to run from relationships instead of towards them. We have become a paradox – at the same time we long for meaningful relationships and we shy away from them.

GraceGroups are an important part of Grace Presbyterian Church. We are committed to being a church that fosters deep and genuine relationships, and this happens best in home fellowship groups. It is within the context of small, nurturing groups that you will feel free to share and grow; to search and to ask questions; to build lasting friendships; and to bear each others burdens.

Joining a new group can be intimidating, even for the most outgoing of personalities. We hope that the long term blessings of being in a GraceGroup will encourage you to give it a try.

Q: Do I have to be a member of Grace Presbyterian Church to join a GraceGroup?

A: No, all adults are encouraged to join.

Q: What if I don’t connect well with a particular group?

A: Each GraceGroup has its own personality. If at first you don’t succeed, we encourage you to visit another.

Q: What about childcare?

A: We believe so much in GraceGroups that we offer a reimbursement for your childcare expenses incurred while you attend your GraceGroup. Click here to go to download page.

Q: What goes on at a typical home fellowship group?

A: Home fellowship groups are primarily about forming meaningful relationships. In the comfort of a Home Group leader’s house, you will share coffee and tea as everyone gets settled in. The leader will then facilitate a short study of the Bible wherein each person is encouraged to participate at their own level. After the study there is a time where people can share what is going on in their lives, and some may choose to pray for those who ask for prayer. Studies are usually 90 minutes long with some groups choosing to go 2 hours.

Q. How do I find a GraceGroup?

A. See the location maps below and/or send an email to our GraceGroups facilitator at groups@gracehamptons.org or call the church at 631-259-3516.
